Workshop Description
The sharing of stories is a way to break silence and find connection with others. Our story circles are interactive peer-led experiences that center sharing, listening, and reflection in a supportive environment. Our Parenting and Caregiving Story Circle meets online once a week for 4 weeks. This community event is an invitation to share and think through together the complexities associated with parenting and caregiving.
This is a space that honors our unique paths and shared struggles. Participants are invited to share their unscripted personal stories in response to different themes or questions.
Story Circles are rooted in indigeneous practices and have a rich tradition in social justice settings. They can serve as a platform for building community and cultivating connection. Past story circles have explored lessons from our elders, interdependence during these times, parenting while incarcerated, practicing hope, amongst other themes.
Space is limited. Advanced registration required.
This is a donation-based offering. Donations for this event can be made through Venmo.
